Candela PicoWay is an innovative solution for removing tattoos, permanent makeup, and pigmentation using picosecond laser technology. It works with ultra-short pulses lasting just one picosecond, allowing pigment to be broken down at the molecular level — effectively and safely, without damaging surrounding tissues.
The picosecond laser technology is particularly effective for removing tattoos of all colors, including black, blue, red, green, yellow, and others, as well as for correcting or removing permanent makeup (eyebrows, lips).
During the procedure, we use the Zimmer Cryo 7 cooling system to minimize discomfort and ensure maximum patient comfort. Upon request, a topical anesthetic cream can be applied to the tattooed area before the procedure to make the experience even more comfortable.
The technology used in the Candela PicoWay device promotes faster healing and reduces the risk of scarring and burns. The procedure requires fewer sessions compared to traditional methods, and each session is tailored to the individual skin type and pigmentation characteristics of the client. To achieve visible results in tattoo or pigmentation removal, typically 4 to 8 sessions are needed, spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
